Welcome to this new Perl Dancer2 video tuto Git Heroku deploy Buildpack
Perl Dancer2 video tuto Git Heroku deploy Buildpack
Due to the recent use of Perl in my last mission, i wish to go further in what Perl can offers.
My progression with it will be a good occasion to document it, for me, and for anyone to whom it could be useful.
Concerning the build packs, you will see on the video the steps to apply a specific buildpack, but unfortunately those found is the video don’t work for now.
But you will see though all the steps to proceed with one of the twelve linguage supported from stock ; Node.js, Ruby, Java, PHP, Python, Go, Scala, Clojure). You will find the steps to apply a third party buildpack found through the selection of buildacks created by other developers.
The next video, following that one will probably a short one focus on the solution i will have found concerning the buildpack issue.
The part concerning the buildpack will requires more time and research. It will be either founding the appropriate buildpack, either modifying an existant one or creating myself one according to the Heroku documentation. That is why i will do it in an additional video (don t want to risk any issue with this one, sitting on my lap-top).
I hope it will be useful, don’t hesitate to tell me what you think, or any suggestion in the comments, thank’s !
